Proposal
- Tour an exhibition to a series of venues around Scotland.
- To run a series of workshops with both adults and children.
- To produce a further piece of work that would form part of the exhibition.

The exhibition explores the technique of weaving in the context of architecture. The narrative of weaving becomes the methodology for the creation and critique of the work.

This work concentrates on exploring the technique of weaving through materials commonly associated with architecture and construction. The project explores weaving through glass, metal, wood, casting and natural material. This work proposes ways in which the technique of weaving can generate architectural form and ideas. As in our previous work there is a strong emphasis on process and the physical act of making.

The workshops are intended to target people from rural communities who currently have little or no access to architectural events. However it is our intention that the other exhibition locations would reach a far wider audience.

We have both recently graduated with a Masters in Advanced Architectural Design, from Strathclyde University. Our work explores a variety of themes relating to art and architecture.

Award given: £4984
