Architecture Inside - Out is a one-day event for school students who are seriously considering a career in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction.

They were given an introduction to the award-winning design of The Fruitmarket Gallery by its architect, Richard Murphy, and visited either Edinburgh College of Art or Edinburgh University to meet students and tutors for a tour of the studios, and to view degree shows and portfolios.

The aim was to raise pupils' confidence about contemporary architecture and design on all levels, and to give them the opportunity to meet practising architects and architecture students.
